Our holiday
flat:
Our precious
holiday flat is of 95m². There is a separate entrance at
ground level and in the entire flat there are no stairs or steps. It is
therefore ideal for wheelchair-bound people.
The flat encompasses 3 double bedrooms, two of them with a washing
facility, a big living room, a completely equipped EIK (eat-in kitchen)
with corner seat (more on that, later), bathroom with a shower (shower
tub is ground levelled), grab handles, WC, sinks. There is a separate
second toilet. A second TV can be supplied on request.
You will find a lawn in south-ward direction at a gorgeous pond with a
lounge, pavilion and deckchairs.
The amenities are
as follows:
Apart from your
own telephone line and satellite TV, you will have
access to the internet.
Pets are allowed in the holiday flat. Please ask or for it.
We also provide a Bathroom with shower cubicle, a stereo system, a
clock
radio,
a hairdryer, an electric iron and ironing board. Additionally to
crockery, cutlery, pots and pans the kitchen is equipped with toaster,
coffee machine, espresso machine, egg boiler, kettle, bread cutter,
cooking stove with 4 hotplates and oven, dishwasher and microwave.
Furthermore, you will find a vacuum cleaner, a washing machine and a
tumble dryer. Cots and high chairs for children are available on
request at no
charge. You will also find different board games and a set of
badminton. The playground/football ground is only a 3 minutes walk
away. Bed linen, table cloths, bath and hand towels are available.
At
your arrival you will find the beds already made.
On your arrival you will receive a little welcoming present.
Our special
services include among many other things supplying you with
bread rolls and beverages, and do the shopping for you before your
arrival.
We can also tell you where to buy fresh products from our local
farmers. We are also more than happy recommending you the most
beautiful beer
gardens and beer cellars (a special kind of beer garden) with their
solid Brotzeiten (a meal or snack consisting of bread, cold cuts,
cheese, etc. taken usually between breakfast and lunch or in the
evening) served with the unique Franconian beer brewed in the many
small breweries.
"Barriere free" flat.
Arrival and
depature during holiday time: Saturday/Sunday, or else as
agreed upon.
We also welcome cyclists
and motor bikers. They and their two wheelers
find shelter at our place. You will find a drying room as well as a
washing machine and tumble dryer. Our service includes advising you on
different tours as well as taking you and your bike to or picking you
up from any destination. The romantic beer garden in the village, which
is within walking distance, invites you to stay after one of your
tours.
Landlord and son are both crazy about motor biking and would love to
give you detailed information and help you with whichever problem.
Articles on their own experiences in different kinds of Enduro races
and self conducted motor bike tests can be read in renowned biker
magazines.

For golf players
there are two 18-
holes- golf courses very close to our village. For interested parties
there is a public course.

Among many other attractions and a part from
cities/ towns like Nuremberg (65 km), Erlangen (35 km), Bamberg (45
km), Bayreuth (45 km), Forchheim (23 km) there are also the Basilica of
Gößweinstein, the monastery Vierzehnheiligen,
various castles, forts, ruins, churches, monasteries, stalactite caves,
and many more.

steam train through the Wiesent-valley (Wiesenttal),
thus contributing to your relaxation and
recreation. Sometimes cultural programmes are also on offer.
Additionally, the Franconian Switzerland lays emphasis on culture,
therefore you can look forward to enjoying some of the many cultural
events.
